Citroen Berlingo Engine Oil Finder

The Citroën Berlingo is a high-roof station wagon from Citroën (French car manufacturer), which was launched in late 1996. The name Berlingo derives from the French word Berlingot (carriage). The new product won the Van of the Year title in 1997.

All previously released generations of Citroën Berlingo:

• 1st generation Citroën Berlingo I (1996-2009) available as a high-roof station wagon
• 1st generation Citroën Berlingo Electrique (2009) available as a high-roof station wagon
• 2nd generation Citroën Berlingo II B9 (2008-2018) available as a high roof station wagon

Both variants have a below-average performance of 75 - 109 hp. The successor generation (II) also offered 1.4 - 1.8 litre petrol engines with 75 - 109 hp, with the 1.6 - 2 litre diesel engines having an output of 69 - 110 hp.

The third and latest version (III) has a three-cylinder petrol engine . With an output of 100 hp, the Berlingo reaches a top speed of 185 km/h. The cubic capacity** is 1.2 l. Alternatively, there is also a four-cylinder diesel with 1.5L engine and 102 - 130 hp to choose from, which means that the Berlingo III has gained a lot in performance compared to its predecessors.

Every engine oil will have its viscosity grade labelled on the packaging. This will look something like 0W-20, 5W-30 or 5W-40. This grading is used to measure how thick / fluid the oil is and help ensure you buy the right oil for your car. The lower the viscosity grade of the oil, the more fluid and thinner it will be than those with a high grade (higher numbers) which will be much less running and thick.
