The purpose of the oil in your Audi A8 is to lubricate your engine block to ensure that all the gears that make it up are able to turn without problems, and to ensure the integrity of each of its elements. At the same time the oil also reduces friction to prevent wear and has other roles such as stopping corrosion, helping to dissipate heat in the engine block and guaranteeing sealing.
