Subaru Levorg Engine Oil Finder

Subaru presented the Levorg in 2013 with fresh technology and a modern design. The sleek mid-range station wagon marks a new vehicle category: sports station wagon or sports tourer.

The new Levorg, which inherits the history of the Legacy in Europe, presents itself as a rather sport car. The Subaru Levorg somes with the wide hexagonal radiator grille, narrow headlights, large bonnet scoop and the big 18-inch wheels. The finishing touches are the roof spoiler at the rear and the twin-pipe exhaust system.

The space available is fairly good overall, but the interior width in the rear is a little on the tight side. The trunk volume offers 405 to 1,425 liters of space, which is a pretty good size in a class comparison. A look at the technical data reveals that the station wagon is only available with a 1.6l turbo petrol engine with an output of 125 kW/170 hp. The supercharged boxer engine was newly developed for the Levorg and offers smooth running. A continuously variable automatic transmission transmits the drive power to the all-wheel drive and constant adjustment of the drive torque ensures optimum traction (active torque vectoring). The engine develops its power evenly, and when it comes to driving performance measurements, the Levorg lands in the middle of the class.

The fuel consumption in Levorg leaves a little to be desired. Reviews claim that the station wagon consumes a high 8.2 litres per 100 kilometers (combined). The station wagon is available in three trim levels. In the top "sport" version almost everything that Subaru offers is included. Among other things, an LED low beam, a navigation system and a blind spot assistant are part of the standard equipment.

The Importance Of Subaru Levorg Motor Oil

Motor oil is a vital part of your Subaru Levorg's engine. It provides the much needed lubrication to many of the internal parts of an engine. One of its key jobs is to prevent wear and tear on the moving parts which helps keep the engine running smoothly. Without oil, the engine would cease up almost immediately.

Regularly checking and changing your Subaru Levorg engine oil is really important. Every time you start and run your car, very fine by-products from the combustion in the engine will be collected in the engine oil. This is one of the reasons why over time the oil goes black. If these contaminants build up too much and exceed the capacity of the oil it can have a negative impact on your car’s overall efficiency and actually effect its performance as it creates sludge and increased wear in the engine block.
